Greetings Chicora Family!!! I hope that everyone has had an amazing summer full of fun, adventure and relaxation. I would like to welcome everyone back to the 2014-15 school year and formally introduce myself. My name is Paul Pallagi and I am the new Assistant Principal of Chicora Elementary School of Communication … Where We Use Technology and the Arts. It is my pleasure to serve the students, parents, teachers and community members of the Chicora Community. It is my goal to create a collaborative culture between all stakeholders in order to make Chicora School of Communication an icon of Charleston County School District (CCSD).
This is my sixth year with CCSD. During years past I have worked as a classroom teacher, teacher coach, and school administrator. With my most recent position held as Assistant Administrator of Northwoods Middle School. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Charleston Southern University. I am a passionate and outgoing individual who has a love for education. I am absolutely delighted to be part of the Chicora staff, and look forward to meeting all of our students, parents and community partners.
As Assistant Principal, I am excited to continue to strive for excellence. Aligned with CCSD Vision 2016, it is our mission at Chicora Elementary to eliminate the barriers that have caused doubt, low-self-esteem, and poor academic and social performances of our students. We further commit to meeting this mission by providing outreach and community partnerships that will meet the needs of our families and communities. With the devotion and dedication of all stakeholders, “WE” will increase overall academic performance. “We” will educate every scholar, and “WE” will accept nothing but the best for every student at Chicora Elementary.
In closing, please join myself and all of the stakeholders of Chicora Elementary in creating a future for our students where we put academics in the forefront and expect nothing but excellence from our students. At Chicora School of Communication WE, “Believe and Achieve ….. While Striving for Excellence.”
